Features

Plays well with your stack — and your AI

Planora doesn’t want to be your only tool, just your source of truth. Slack for the chatter, webhooks and API tokens for the plumbing, a Jira importer for the escape route — and a built-in MCP server so your AI can do the typing.

Verified integrations

Only the integrations Planora actually ships today are listed here.

MCP / AI-native

Your AI can drive Planora

The built-in MCP server exposes 13 tools to any MCP client — Claude, Cursor and friends: create and search issues with full PQL, transition status, manage sprints, comment and more. Scoped tokens and rate limits keep access exactly as wide as you allow.

Slack

Slack, where your team already is

Pipe issue events into the channels you choose, get DM reminders, and paste a Planora link to see it unfurl with live status. Configurable per project, so #general stays quiet.

Jira import

Leave Jira without leaving your history

The Jira importer bulk-imports projects, issues and users from Jira Server or Jira Cloud. And because PQL reads like JQL, your saved-search muscle memory survives the move.

Webhooks & API

Webhooks and a real API

Outgoing webhooks push events to any endpoint; scoped API tokens let scripts and services do exactly what you permit and nothing more. Build the glue your team needs.

Frequently asked questions

What is MCP and why should I care?

Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI assistants use to operate tools. Planora ships its own MCP server, so assistants like Claude or Cursor can create, search and update work for you — no copy-pasting between chat and tracker.

Which AI tools work with Planora?

Any MCP-capable client. Claude and Cursor are the ones we use daily; the protocol is open, so the list keeps growing.

Can we import from Jira Cloud as well as Jira Server?

Yes, both. The importer brings projects, issues and users in bulk.

Is API access secure?

Tokens are scoped to the permissions you grant and the MCP server is rate-limited. Revoke a token and access ends immediately.

Do you integrate with Zapier or other middleware?

Not natively today. Outgoing webhooks and the API cover most glue work. Roadmap: broader import/export options beyond Jira.
